Anthony Muse set the church on fire with the announcement that we are finally "moving out!" Barely able to contain his joy, Pastor revealed that the Ark will soon have not one but two new work stations. "The good news", he said, "is the attack is over! The emotional, physical and financial attack is over. This is our season of joy." Pastor went on to reveal that the Ark will soon break ground on a new Fort Washington campus and park and will also soon occupy the former Melwood Mall in Upper Marlboro. "Our goal as Ark Ministries is to establish and have many work stations. This is the time of our double-portion anointing, but more work means more results. More results mean more blessings, and, ultimately, more miracles. And for anyone that's connected to the Ark, if it happens at the Ark, it can happen in your house." What's happening is an exciting plan of ministry expansion and the unfolding of our vision. "Victory number one," Pastor said, "We raised enough money to get our loan. We will be able to break ground for Ark of Safety North and Ark Park in Fort Washington. It's all ours with plans for a 1000-seat sanctuary, senior citizen high-rise, recreation center, and baseball diamond. We will develop everything that you need on this campus, and the road leading up to Ark Park will be called Ark Way." Pastor reminded us of the miracle that God worked to give us the land. The owner first donated 20 acres to the church, then doubled it to 40 acres, but that wasn't all of the good news. The double-portion blessing is to see the original vision come to pass: one church, two locations. Thanks to the obedience in giving and the personal financial sacrifices of First Lady Pat Muse and members of the Ark's administrative staff, Pastor walked into the bank with $450,000 and walked out with the keys to Ark of Safety South. It's a 60,000-square-foot facility that will house a 2000-seat sanctuary, administrative wing, bible college, banquet hall, media center and book store, and more. "I've got the keys and it's shouting time," declared our pastor. "God remembers His promise," he proclaimed. "I will restore unto you the years that the locusts have eaten." The church went up in praise!" ----------------------------------------- Related News: Ark of Safety Groundbreaking Ceremony
