Ark of Safety Media Ministry

The Ark of Safety media ministry provides the behind-the-scenes perspective of television production. Duties in the Media Ministry include camera operation, video production, audio support, editing, labeling and cataloguing of recorded/edited materials, and sale of materials-either in cassette, compact disc, or VHS format. Media Ministry workers learn and use skills in Microsoft PowerPoint to facilitate and enhance praise and worship. They take control of the cameras during Ark worship services and special events. In the control room, ministry workers manipulate the digital video mixer for having total command of both cameras during services, which are broadcast in the local metropolitan area. An audio CD is produced and used for the world-wide Internet broadcast.

The work of the Media Ministry is done in a fast-moving and intense environment that rewards in a number of ways. The ministry enables tomorrow's leaders the opportunity to take on the responsibility of leadership in a communications environment, while being immersed in the Word of God.
